Board Chair
Schuyler Rhodes
Schuyler Rhodes is a retired United Methodist clergy person with forty years of experience in community development and organizing. He relocated to Cedar City three years ago, following his spouse, a faculty member at SUU. Having lived in New York and San Francisco, Schuyler founded a homeless shelter and several feeding programs. In retirement, he enjoys serving on the ICCS Board and his local church, Community Presbyterian. A published author, Schuyler has written nine books and numerous articles.

Vice Chair
Len Whitacre
Len Whitacre is a BYU graduate in Philosophy who has been married to his wife, Pat, for 54 years. He began his career at IBM in computer science and accounting before founding a corporate consulting company. Len led a team of 60 developers in publishing applications used globally at universities and corporations. His community involvement includes coaching youth and high school basketball, leading community projects, and serving in his faith. Family remains his greatest joy, alongside his professional achievements.

Melinda Ford
Melinda Ford is a mother of five, a wife, and an accounting professor at SUU. She holds bachelor's, master's, and PhD degrees in accounting, specializing in financial and managerial accounting as well as corporate governance. Melinda also owns a small catering business and occasionally provides accounting consulting to the community. Her hobbies include gardening, baking, and art. Balancing family and career, she prioritizes her family while pursuing her professional interests.

Bruce Washburn
Bruce Washburn grew up on a farm in Central Illinois and graduated from Drake University in pharmacy, where he met his wife of 53 years, Leigh Rice. His career spanned retail, hospital, and clinical pharmacy with the Department of Veterans Affairs, along with earning MBA and PharmD degrees. They have lived in multiple states, including Utah, where they are now retired. Bruce enjoys Southern Utah's outdoors and traveling abroad with his family. They have one daughter and two grandsons.

Dane Womack
Dane Womack, a Cedar City local, graduated from Canyon View High School and served a mission in Brazil for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is the President of Onsite Private Security, growing the business from four part-time employees to over 40 staff members since 2018. Dane brings his experience as a business owner to support Iron County Care and Share. He enjoys singing, golf, and spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and their three sons.

Trevor Bradford
Trevor Bradford is the founder of SymTec, a leading business IT company known for innovative services and solutions. He is a passionate mountain biker, enjoying the challenge of diverse terrains as a contrast to his work. Trevor is dedicated to his family, spending quality time with his wife, Kirsten, and their four sons. Despite his busy career, he maintains a strong work-life balance. Trevor's resilience and strategic thinking define both his professional and personal life.

Matt Pruitt
Matt Pruitt is an attorney at Kirton McConkie, specializing in corporate law, litigation, and intellectual property. He has argued cases before the Nevada Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Before law, Matt worked in the entertainment industry, managing acts like The Killers and Imagine Dragons. He moved to Cedar City in 2022 with his family and enjoys gardening and family time. Matt's diverse background and legal expertise make him a valuable asset to the community.

Evangeline Taylor is a project advisor with expertise in managing public-private partnerships in the energy sector, focusing on sustainability. Known for her exceptional coordination and communication skills, she thrives in diverse environments. Evangeline serves as a board member at Iron County Care and Share, contributing to community support initiatives. Her dedication extends beyond her professional achievements to her commitment to community service.

Brooke MacNaughtan
Brooke L. MacNaughtan is the Chief People & Community Officer at Leavitt Group, overseeing travel, events, and employee experience. She began her career with Leavitt Group in 2002 after graduating summa cum laude from SUU. Brooke serves on various councils and has been on Leavitt Group Enterprises’ Board of Directors since 2017. She is also a dedicated board member and cellist for the Orchestra of Southern Utah. Brooke resides in Cedar City with her husband, Mac, and their three children.

Travis Simkins
I grew up in a small farming community in rural Wyoming and moved back to my hometown after spending years in international business and academia. My early career included roles in U.S. and Mexican Customs Brokerage with Expeditors International, followed by private equity work in Las Vegas.
Now based in Cedar City, I enjoy teaching at SUU and consulting on marketing and project management. A lifelong learner, I hold a Ph.D. in Marketing and the PMP® certification, balancing my academic and industry experience to help professionals and small businesses thrive.
