Current Initiatives

Running Iron County Care and Share requires a dedicated team, countless hours of work, and the invaluable support of our community.

Every day, we provide food, shelter, and essential services to those in need—but maintaining our facilities and expanding our services also means we sometimes need to ask for a little extra help.

To ensure we can keep our doors open and provide a safe, welcoming environment, we periodically fundraise for specific projects and repairs. These initiatives make it possible for us to keep up with the demands of our facilities and to continue offering the critical resources that so many in our community rely on. Whether it’s a repair to our drainage systems, new winter supplies for our guests, or an update to our kitchen equipment, each project directly contributes to the health, comfort, and dignity of our community members.

How You Can Help

Your support—whether a donation, volunteering, or simply spreading the word—goes a long way.

By contributing to our current initiatives, you’re helping to make our community a stronger, more compassionate place for everyone.

Thank you for standing with us and for making a meaningful impact in the lives of others. Together, we can keep our community safe and supported.

Hearts On The Green

Each year, Iron County Care and Share hosts our Annual Charity Golf Tournament to bring the community together in the fight against hunger and homelessness. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or just joining for the fun, this event blends sport, connection, and compassion—all on the green.

Can’t golf? You can still make a difference through sponsorships or donations, supporting vital services like our food pantry and shelter.

Play. Sponsor. Give.
Every swing supports a stronger, more caring Iron County.

Project Beacon - A Light Pole Campaign

Over the years, our light poles have taken some hits, and we’re launching a campaign to replace them with stronger, more durable fixtures. New light poles will greatly improve safety and visibility, creating a welcoming and secure environment for everyone seeking shelter.

Every contribution, from $20 to $5,000, brings us closer to a brighter, safer space.

Help us light the way!

Project Beacon

Build a Tiny Home Village

We’re creating a Tiny Home Village next to our shelter and pantry to provide permanent, supportive housing for individuals transitioning out of homelessness. This village will offer more than just a roof—it will be a place of stability, dignity, and community.

Your donation helps fund construction, furnishings, and the supportive services that make lasting change possible.

Together, we can turn crisis into stability—one home at a time.

Support Monthly Family Food Boxes

Iron County Care and Share provides over 600 households with Family Food Boxes each month—filled with nutritious, shelf-stable items to help families bridge the gap.

By becoming a monthly donor, you ensure parents don’t have to choose between bills and groceries—and that children have what they need to thrive.

Just $25/month feeds a family for a week.
Your ongoing support brings food, dignity, and hope to our neighbors in need.
