Partners and Other Resources

We work closely with other service providers in our area to ensure each individual gets the precise help they need.

Canyon Creek Services provides shelter for battered and homeless women, men, and children.

Cedar City Housing Authority provides housing assistance to low-income residents through the management of the area's Housing Choice Voucher Program – Section 8. This program is income based, and the eligibility guidelines are set by HUD. There may be waiting lists for these vouchers.

The Department of Work Force Services provides accessible employment related and support services responsive to the needs of employers, job seekers, and the community.

The Homeless Veterans Fellowship provides transitional housing and supportive services for Veterans and their families who are homeless or about to become homeless. They serve every Utah county except Salt Lake.

The Utah Food Bank Southern Distribution Center offers emergency food assistance in Iron, Beaver, Garfield, Kane, and Washington counties. Resources and services include mobile pantries, mobile school pantries, free summer meals for kids, and food pantry services from the Hurricane Valley Food Pantry.
